2024-11-04 First-come, first-served Requests-to-speak (via zoom or in-person) for 3 minutes during an event at Ontario Legislature building Nov 25th.
YOU MAKE THE REQUEST USING A SUPER-EASY ONLINE FORM
Hello Everyone!
Details are at the bottom of this post for how to view current and past UPDATEs in your internet browser, and how to interact about items.
1. This is a golden opportunity! You can request to speak (via zoom or in-person) for 3 minutes on November 25th 2-4pm ET during a celebration and public hearings event hosted by AODAA at the Ontario provincial government legislature building in Toronto.
I will point you to all the details, but first, below this paragraph, are some of their paragraphs that you need to know NOW, due to the first-come, first-served principle. If I may suggest: fill in their “online sign-up form” NOW, before you get side-tracked by the other lengthy details/background info. [Note to zoom users: when you arrive at the sign-up form, at first you will think it is not for zoom participants, but the wording on the form will change very soon after you start filling it in.]
“Remember to sign up to attend the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of the birth of Ontario’s grassroots campaign for strong disability legislation. The event will be held at Queen’s Park, Toronto, from 2 to 4 p.m. EST on November 25, 2024. You can take part in person or online. Use our online sign-up form to register to come in person as an observer or if you want to give a 3-minute speech. You should also use the online sign-up form if you want to register to give a 3-minute speech online from home.
If you want to watch the festivities online but don’t want to speak, you don’t need to register. We will later make public a YouTube link to watch from home. In-person space is limited, so sign up fast if you want to come to Queen’s Park. We will close sign ups when we reach capacity.”
“We’re holding our own Disability Community Public Hearings at Queen’s Park in Toronto. We’ve invited the leaders of each of Ontario’s four major political parties, the Tories, NDP, Greens, and Liberals, to attend or send an MPP on their behalf. The parties’ representatives will be seated on the panel at this event. Our letter inviting the parties is set out below.
The panel will be moderated by ARCH Disability Law Centre’s executive director, Rob Lattanzio.
We’re inviting you to sign up to speak to that panel for 3 minutes each, either in person at Queen’s Park or online. Tell the panel about disability barriers you face. Make constructive suggestions of what should be done to remove and prevent those disability barriers.
You can also sign up to attend and watch in person, even if you don’t want to speak. For those who can’t come to Queen’s Park but would like to watch the festivities, the event will be live streamed on the internet.
“Sign up fast, using our online form. Space will be limited both for speakers and for people coming to watch. We’ll accept requests on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep your presentation to the topic of our event.”

2. New video on a popular YouTube channel (“Yes Theory”) about The Quiet Zone / Green Bank, West Virginia.
Do not worry that the title of their video is somewhat incorrect.
It is only one day since they posted their video and already there have been more than 630,000 views! And their channel has more than 9 million subscribers.

3. How “Peculiar”?!
The city of Peculiar, Missouri (Kansas City area) blocked a proposed data centre after residents complained. The proposed development (multiple buildings within 500 acres) originally received city approval. The meeting where they reversed the approval was packed with residents opposed to the project.

4. EU enthusiasm for 6G
So far, all Gs and foreseeable Gs are problematic electrosmog. That is one reason why I am not fond of focusing on “5G.”

~ Sent from my corded device using a wired internet connection, with all wireless OFF. A conscious choice. For cleaner air everywhere. For people & planet ♥️
How to practice safe tech & e-hygiene to prevent electrosmog:
1 • Cords & adaptors (instead of wireless radiation). Prefer, provide & request cords/cables to connect devices & places.
2 • Downloads (instead of streaming radiation). Prefer, provide & request apps & media you can use offline.
3 • Awareness. Know what & how to connect non-wirelessly, and help others know.
4 • Caution. Use caution with all types of power.
5 • Kindness. Be kind to yourself, others & the environment.
Thank you for helping everyone realize it’s better to prevent electrosmog.
